Served five and a half years apprenticeship as a Letterpress Compositor at Hartley Print, Lower Hutt.
Have worked at:
- The Government Print for two years
- The Daily Telegraph in Sydney, Australia for two and a half years
- Hartley Print, Lower Hutt, for seven years
- Screen Printing plant, printing plastic bottles for eleven and a half years as a manager.

Year 2000
Took over ownership and re-established Community Print Copy Centre in August 2000 at 57 Dudley St.
Community Print Copy Centre had been trading at 35 Dudley Street approximately ten years.
To keep up to date with technology a Canon monochrome copier replaced the old copier.

Year 2002
Early in 2002 installed a:
- Xerox DC320 colour printer was installed, replacing a rented Canon colour copier
- Monochrome Xerox DC470 was purchased capable of 70 prints a minute

Year 2003
In August 2003, the business re-located to Hutt Road Alicetown for 9 months.

Year 2004
April 2004 the shop re-opened on the corner of Dudley and Margaret Streets, the best location, so far lots of windows and natural light.

Year 2006
April 2006 the ApeosPort 5540 was installed improving the quality of the colour and printing 40 colour copies a minute.

August 2005 Josie arrived on the scene, she was abused when she was a puppy, and is a bit handicapped, she wins the hearts of most clients.
